With Keel, jewellery becomes becomes a story. Inspired by timeless elegance, personal narratives, and the beauty of small details, each piece is handcrafted with care, using silver, gold vermeil, and precious or semi-precious stones. With a focus on individuality and timeless design, we invite you to explore jewelry that celebrates your unique journey and adds a touch of magic to your every moment.

As a child, I was captivated by those iconic movie moments—the ones where a leading lady stepped into a room, adorned with beauty and confidence, her presence lighting up the space. It wasn’t just the dresses or the drama that held my attention; it was the jewellery. The way it sparkled and added magic to the moment fascinated me. From then on, I saw jewellery as the most special part of any outfit—the detail that could tell a story, evoke emotion, and transform an ordinary moment into something extraordinary.

This fascination stayed with me as I pursued my studies in Industrial Design at MSGSU, Istanbul’s renowned fine arts college. My time there was a mix of love and frustration. I adored designing for people’s needs, solving problems, and transforming simple objects—like a chair—into iconic designs with just a few thoughtful details. It taught me to see and celebrate the little things around me, the quirks and details that make something truly special.

But I struggled with the other side of industrial design: mass production, the environmental impact, and the dullness that often came with creating for profit over passion. It was during this time that I realized my true calling wasn’t in producing objects by the thousands but in crafting  one-of-a-kind pieces, each filled with spirit and story.

Everything fell into place during an internship at a jewellery design brand. Within the first few months, I knew this was what I was meant to do. I will forever be grateful for the resources, patience, and kindness my mentor offered during this time. While learning the fundamentals of jewelry making, I also completed a gemstone setting course in Istanbul’s historic Grand Bazaar, further honing my skills and deepening my passion for the craft.

Today, all my jewelry is handcrafted by me, using silver, gold vermeil, and semi-precious or precious stones. While I traditionally work with silver, I’m skilled in creating gold pieces upon request. My designs draw inspiration from characters in books and films, as well as vintage styles from medieval times to Art Deco and Art Nouveau, which I reimagine with a modern twist.

What sets my work apart is its purpose: to help people tell their own stories. My jewelry is created not just to adorn but to resonate, to connect, and to carry meaning. I hope my pieces add a little sparkle, magic, and sentiment to your life, just as they have always done for me.
